Meditation Monday: Introduction

Welcome to Meditation Monday blog post style! For the last few months, I have made it a point to implement #meditationmonday into my weekly routine. Those who follow my Instagram stories have seen my weekly posts featuring a book, my trusty highlighter, and a sweet treat of course!

I know so many people hear the word meditation and begin to sweat at the idea of being alone with their thoughts. Sure, a lot of people meditate this way but for me, there are MANY ways to do this. Reading, journaling, listening to podcasts, any ritual can be a form of meditation.

Bringing Meditation Monday to the blog was an idea brought on by friends' interest in my practice. Mindfulness and meditation is for everyone. You don't need to be a professional, just start here.

Every Monday, I'm going to share a post focused on the idea of meditation. This could include a mantra, quote, prayer, photo, book recommendation, or just inspired thoughts for the week.

Making a habit of taking time for myself has been incredibly helpful managing my anxiety, so I thought why not share it with you too.

We all get busy and caught up our crazy lives but it's important to pause, take a moment, and re-focus our minds on what truly matters.
