My Current Favorite Things

I thought about doing a yearly favorites but that felt like a huge commitment. Did I actually love all of these things for most of the year? Probably not. Do you see where I'm going with this?

Here's a few things I've been loving over the past few months...

Hair

I stopped using my flat iron as often and committed to round-brushing my hair while drying it (opposed to swirling the hairdryer around my head hoping it dries). While I realize this doesn't give the same look, I'm digging the reduced fly-aways and more body to my hair. I also think this is a bit healthier as the direct heat on your hair probably does all sorts of damage. Cool. All of my favorite hair products below.

Interiors

My love/hate with pink interiors is back in the love phase again. Even worse than before. For example, I've even considered purchasing a pink neon sign to go over my couch. Extra? Maybe. Worth it? Absolutely. Here's a few more pink items I wouldn't mind bringing home.

Food

Being gluten free, I get 100 questions a day about what I can eat. While eating out can often me limiting, there are a million options at the store and online. Here are my current favorites.

Clothing

Dr. Scholl's shoes. Yes, you heard me right. They are EVERYTHING. I'm sure hearing that you're picturing a sensible librarian-esque flat shoe but that is not the case at all. I've picked up two pairs so far and I'm already looking to add more. When do I wear these? Taking the dog out, long days of shopping (frequent), traveling, basically any time I want to look put together but feel comfy as hell. Shop these:

Music

I got a record player for Christmas and am already in love! It's so nice to leave my phone in my room, turn on the record player, and enjoy my space technology free!

Does anyone have recommendations on record shopping? Should I just buy them all off Amazon? I'd love feedback on this as it has been quite the process so far...

This year Paramore released what is likely their last album, After Laughter, and it is just SO dang good. I even had a chance to see them on this tour and it made me feel all the feels! I sure hope they continue to make music together in some way, shape or form because they are just so incredibly talented. If you haven't listened to the album yet, here you go!
