My love for interior design (according to my mom) began in the late 90’s on a weekend trip to Rainbow, Texas. Our hotel had a new (to me) TV channel called HGTV and I was pretty much glued to it all weekend. Fast forward, I graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Interior Design and entered into the commercial design world. With a full-time design job, I still found myself craving a creative outlet. So, I started my blog, Life With Zan. Three years later, it snowballed into my own interior design business! I work with clients both virtually and in person to help bring their spaces to life.

You’ll fill out the client questionnaire down below and we’ll get in touch for a free 30-minute consultation call. This is when we will chat about what you’re looking to create in your home!

After you receive my design guide, we get on a 60-minute call and walk through your options. I’ll share my recommendations with you and I get your feedback. Plus, we revise if needed! I want you to be more than happy.

I send you a finalized design guide with images, your custom space plan, and a shopping list with direct links to purchase. Once your design guide arrives, you can order product and style your space as your leisure.

What’s Included

  • Personal Review of your Space + Dimensions:  You send in the details and I design a plan just for you.

  • 60-Minute Consultation:  This is where we get on a call and I walk you through your design solutions.

  • Revisions:  Need to switch something up? I take your feedback and revise the design guide.

  • Final Design Concept: After your feedback, I’ll finalize the design for your space.

  • Design Guide:  After we’re done the revisions, I send you your customized design guide via email. This will include images, a final space plan, and a shopping list.

  • Shopping List + Links: Tucked inside your design guide you’ll find a shopping list with my recommendations for your space. Each item comes with a direct website link making it easy to purchase!

  • Space Plan: Each design will come with a space plan you can implement as you go - all complete with resource links and sources!

Virtual Interior Design FAQ

How is this different than working with an interior designer?  It’s fun and beyond easy! You and I hop on a call together, we chat about your vision and I give you style advice about how you can spruce up your space. Then, I’ll follow up with an email with your design options, suggested furniture pieces, decor, and links to everything. I’m your design consultant and we chat entirely over Skype and email. You purchase the items, install them, and implement the design. It’s a great way to get an interior designer’s suggestions but without the hefty costs.

I live internationally. Can I hire you?  Definitely!

How can I work with you?  Apply below! If are an aligned fit and I can support your vision, we’ll connect for a 30-minute free consultation. Next, you’ll purchase your package off my website and we’ll start!

How long does the design process take?  From start to finish, two to three weeks! It depends on your personal timeline, making sure we get your design just right!

How does payment work?  All the prices and packages are stated here. After our consult chat, you go straight to checkout and purchase your package. Then, I get to work right away. It’s a one time investment paid upfront and in full. No surprises, no surplus bills, no extra charges.

What happens if we go over budget?  I respect your time and we never go over budget. We’ll stick within the package! That’s one of the huge perks of working with me. Now, if we’re done with your project and you want to rock another room, you can purchase an additional package.

What currency is this? USD. Everything is in USD site-wide.

What are your terms and conditions? Great question! You can find them here. You’ll also be signing them when I onboard you as a client.

What if I don't want to commit to something huge?  All good! That’s why I have smaller interior design packages to meet your needs. Stunning design can happen with any budget.

STAGING AND SYLING FAQ

Do you only offer staging and styling for clients in Dallas County? Currently, my packages are only for Dallas County residents only. If you’re located somewhere else, we can create a custom a la carte solution. Please note, I do require all airfare, ground travel, and my travel time to be fully compensated.

I need your help, but I don’t live in Dallas. You’d be a perfect fit for virtual interior design. Take at my services and if you’re still unsure, let’s schedule a free 30 minute consultation to discuss how I can help bring your vision to life!

How does billing work? After you apply and chat for our 30-minute consult call, you’ll purchase your package right off the website here! Everything is paid up front and in full before I come over and work my magic. No surprise bills or extra charges. Transparency and simplicity is the name of the game!

How do you charge for drive time? Drive time is included in the package. For example, when you hire me for 5 hours of work and I need to commute for 1 hour total, then I’ll be there in person to support you for 4 hours.

What if I need some new furniture too? You can also purchase a virtual interior design package. That would enable us to do in-person staging and styling and I could also hand-select some gorgeous items for your space. Take a look at this package.
